Q1
- What happens if I am not at my computer when the LogIt! screen pops up?
A1 - No problem. The screen will go away by itself after five minutes and
will reappear at the next popup interval (configurable from the menu).
Q2 - Do I have to wait until the LogIt! Time Logger window pops up to perform any
actions?
A2 - Absolutely not! You can open the LogIt! screen at any time by double-clicking
the LogIt! Time Logger icon
in the system tray (by the time on your Microsoft Windows XP screen).
Q3 - Oops, I have clicked the 'Add Blank Entry' button too many times. Now
I can not get rid of those lines. What do I do?
A3 - If you have version 2.2 or greater, there will be an X to the right
of the line that lets you
delete it.
If you don't have the X, then just put a zero (0) in the hours block. You must also put something in the Project/Customer, Code, and Notes field to get past the validation, so just type a few characters in each. The system ignores items with zero (0) in
the hours field, and will remove those lines from the screen so they will not be
there the next time the window appears.
Q4 - While modifying existing log entries, how do I remove an entry entirely?
A4 - Just put a zero (0) in the hours block. (Same situation as A3)
Q5 - Does LogIt! Time Logger integrate with other time keeping systems?
A5 - Right now, you can export any date range of log entries to a comma separated values file (.csv) to import it to any application that accepts a .csv file. We do plan to add more advanced integration capabilities in the future, specific for certain timekeeping systems. If you wish to request a certain integration capability, please email us at logit@bobheck.com. We will respond regarding our progress.
